The client underwrites deals using documents that contain LP names, term-sheet financials, and counterparty information. Pasting that into consumer chat tools was the existing reality, and it was a quiet liability nobody had time to fix. The client needed something with the ergonomics of consumer AI and the custody profile of internal software.

A private chat application, a document agent that parses offering memoranda and term sheets, and an integration layer that connects both to the client’s SharePoint, Outlook, and deal-tracker. Built on leading AI models across the 5 major providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google, Meta), with the model choice per query tuned to the task.

The entire stack is hosted on the client’s infrastructure. Source code lives in the client’s GitHub org from day one. We commit, the client’s engineer reviews, the client merges. No platform lock-in.

The internal tooling replaced roughly a dozen ad-hoc AI sessions per executive per week, most of which had been running on personal accounts with deal documents pasted in. The client got the productivity back without the custody risk, and the rollout was handed off with a runbook so the client could maintain it independently if the relationship ever ended.
